I have decided that I am changing my cover design. Though I like my cover it is more artsy than anything. I think I need something to better draw the eye.
So, I have looked through a lot of covers to Urban Fantasy and I see the bad-ass person on the cover still is pretty popular. Yeah, if they are good covers I do really like these types.
Then we have horror. Most seem to show a location or object to do with the story.
So, what types of covers do you prefer?
I love all kinds of covers. As long as it fits the story inside, I'm generally pleased with whatever cover a book gets. I will say, though, that the cover for Sarah Cross's Dull Boy is easily one of my favorites. It really stands out in comparison to all the other books in YA!
ReplyDeleteGood luck figuring out a new cover design for your book!
Thanks Heather! I just looked that one up. I can see why you like it. :)
DeleteI can't remember the last time I even paid attention to a book cover. Symbols, I guess I like symbols.
ReplyDeleteSybols are good. And some people don't care as much about the book cover as what's inside it.
